Questions and Answers

This might be the thirtieth time I've started today's blog post.

I have to be honest. I'm tired and behind on a couple of my goals for the week. My kids are going through some new phase that I'm really not thrilled with. Perhaps when I'm not so irritable, I'll blog about that. Surely it will be funny next week, right? RIGHT?

So, I figured I'd tell you what was up for the future of my little cozy spot in blogland.

Jan. 25th Will be exciting. I'll have an interview for you greedy little cool kids. :0) I'm really excited about it and can't wait to share the 411 on this gal.
Feb 8th: Another interview. See how hard I've been trying to bring you your monthly interviews? It was a goal and my accountability partner, Beth, sees to it that I am moving forwards in my goal list. God love her. :0)
Oh-I'll have a Tuesday Review for you....though it's an older book, so you might not be interested.

I think that's it, folks. I mean, surely I'll come up with something brilliant and dazzling in between all of those important posts.......or you'll have to deal with more posts like these. Nothing like the suspense of finding out, right?

Which brings me to my point. Whoa, I really ran the long way around to get to this point, didn't I? Do any of you fabulous readers have questions? About writing? Me? The planetary alignments? Well, I can't answer everything-but I'd sure love the chance so leave me a comment about anything you might want to see posted on this blog. Or a question about quantum physics. Whatever you prefer. :0)
*Please note I do not know a damn thing about quantum physics*

  1. Wow, Kristi, so you're gonna' be doing interviews, now? How cool is that? I'll be watching.

My question is, what shortcuts have you found to keep track of notes pertaining to your different WIP's?

  2. I've heard it's best to find someone who doesn't love you to critique your work. What say ye about that?

  4. Joany: Thank you! Good question, I'll post about it tomorrow. :0)

PJ: I sent you an email, but the short answer is that usually people are right that you shouldn't have your loved ones critique for you. They might point out technicalities...they might not know there are technicalities, and they don't want to hurt your feelings. In the back of their minds, they're thinking "I don't want to dash her dreams. I'll just point out the spelling..."

Jemi: They are definitely awesome interviewees :)
    Great ideas!! Keep 'em coming!

What do you think about e-readers? Not really for the publishing industry as a business, but for you personally? I've recently changed my mind a bit. :)

  6. That's a good one, Heidi-because I've recently started leaning towards one way of thinking which was different than my initial reaction. :0)
