Saturday Snapshots

See what I woke up to this morning?

We don't normally get snow in this part of TN

I love how the snow can change a scenery so dramatically

He's so my son. :0)

  1. Pretty pictures! Snow is gorgeous...except for when you have to shovel four times a day just to walk out your front door. :(

  2. Julie, I agree!! Where we lived in California last year, we would get a lot of snow and we had a loooonnnngggg driveway that my poor hubby had to go out and shovel at least twice a day or it would build up and get all icy. That's the part I don't like. :0)

  3. Love the views! Reminds me of my childhood in NY. And there's your little prince reminding me of what I would do when it was too cold to go outside.

  4. Shoot! I just wrote a long comment and then forgot you have word verification and shut the window before it came up!

So what I tried to say before that I so absentmindedly erased was this: I didn't wake up to this scene, but it looks like that now. It's been snowing all day which (in my own opinion) is better than snowing all night when I can't watch it! Of course, the best is to wake up to it like this and then have it still snow all day! :) It's so beautiful, isn't it? And then you kinda have to slow down and stay in and just put everything else aside to enjoy it.

  5. I love the way the snow takes away all the dark parts. Sort of purifies everything. Your little prince has the right idea... stay inside and watch the weather go by. :-)

  6. Did you put the video together? It was wonderful. Cudos to whoever did!

I love snow too. Did I tell you my parents lived in Sevierville for a decade? I speak Dollywood fluently!

  7. PJ: I didn't do that video, but if you tune in tomorrow you will find out who did!! :0) Seveirville-we're not too far from there. I haven't been to Dollywood yet, but I want to this summer.

  8. We've had very little snow in upstate NY for being so late in the year, but it started snowing yesterday when we were at the Christmas tree farm - set the mood perfectly!

    Enjoy it while it lasts!
